Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why doesn't my ring sparkle like my friend's does?

A. There are really only two reasons for this; either your ring needs to be cleaned (at a jewelry store), or there is an issue with one or more of the topics discussed in my course-- the 4 "C"s of Diamonds.

Q. Can a diamond break? I thought it was the hardest stone on earth.

A. Yes, they can, and often do! Even though diamonds are one of the hardest substances, (they CAN cut glass), a diamond can still chip if it’s hit with enough force or at the right angle. There are thinner areas on a diamond; such as the girdle, edge or the point, making these areas more susceptible to chipping.

Q. What should be my #1 Goal be when buying a Diamond?

A. It's simple--to make everyone happy! You want the recipient to be proud to wear it, and you want to know that you got the best Diamond for your budget.

Q. I don't have a lot of time to do all of the research to make sure I get a good deal? What do you suggest I focus on?

A. Take advantage of my 40+ years of Diamond Expertise in my Course, Just Tell Me What to Buy! I sift through all of the noise, and get down to helping you buy the stone you want. I will prepare a Customized Pricing Guide for you for the diamond you want, that you can use wherever you shop to make sure that you don't overpay.

Q. I seem to see more black spots in my diamond then there used to be. Can they be growing?

A. Yes. Luckily, your ring just needs a good cleaning, and it will sparkle like the day you got it.

Q. Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond? Are they better for the environment?

A. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, made of the same carbon material, however, instead of the millions of years it takes to develop, they can now be artificially manufactured quickly. There is much debate on whether they are more earth-friendly. Check out my Big Savings with Lab Grown Diamonds Course for more info.
